Chef Dee Buizer retired from her nearly 40-year career as a restaurateur in the San Francisco Bay area, Metro Washington, D.C., and most recently from her award-winning Senae Thai Bistro in Tucson, AZ, which was recognized by the Royal Thai Ministry of Commerce and Trade for its authenticity in cuisine and service. She is originally from Thailand and is a passionate world traveler. She brings her experience with food and taste for the finer side of travel to designing curated culinary tours through Thailand as well as to other countries. She has been recognized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand for her expertise in curating very high-quality culinary tours throughout Thailand.

Professor Emeritus Jim Buizer retired from the University of Arizona after 40 years working as a Climate Scientist that included stints at the Arizona State University and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration where he designed and led research programs at the interface between climate and society. He is originally from Chile, so speaks native Spanish, and having worked extensively in over two dozen countries across the globe, he brings his familiarity of complex travel and management acumen to Team Senae Travel.
